Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about our process, services, and approach to holistic financial planning.
Holistic financial planning looks at the full picture of your financial life. That includes protection, savings, retirement, debt, taxes, and long-term goals. It creates a strategy that works together cohesively.
We work with individuals, families, and business owners who want thoughtful financial guidance and a personalized approach to planning for the future.
Your first meeting is focused on understanding your goals, concerns, and current financial situation. We’ll discuss where you are today, where you want to be, and potential strategies to help you move forward confidently.
Yes. We help clients evaluate retirement strategies, income planning, life insurance, and other protection-focused solutions designed to support long-term financial stability.
Getting started is simple. Contact us through our website to schedule a conversation, and we’ll guide you through the next steps based on your needs and goals.
We offer both virtual and in-person meetings to make financial planning convenient and accessible for our clients. Whether you prefer meeting online or face-to-face, we’re happy to accommodate your needs.
Most financial plans should be reviewed at least annually, or whenever a major life event occurs such as marriage, a new child, career changes, retirement, or significant financial changes. Regular reviews help ensure your plan stays aligned with your goals.
Please don’t bring any documents. The first meeting is an opportunity for us ta listen to each other. We would like to hear about what is important to you: goals, family, dreams, etc. We will share our process and how we work. If we find that we are a good fit, then we can look at our next steps.
Yes. We work with many small business owners to help address personal and business financial planning needs, including protection strategies, retirement planning, succession considerations, and long-term growth planning.
Our approach focuses on understanding the full picture of your financial life rather than concentrating on a single product or strategy. We believe financial decisions work best when they are coordinated thoughtfully around your goals, values, and long-term wellbeing.
What is the definition of financial success?
Financial success is not defined by income alone. It is not a number, a net worth statement, or a retirement date.
True financial success is the ability to build, control, protect, and transfer wealth efficiently while fully living your life along the way.
We define financial success through five core principles:
Maximize Every Dollar
Every dollar should have a clear purpose and measurable impact. Financial success means deploying capital intentionally, ensuring your money is working as efficiently as possible, and aligned with your goals and values. Dollars that are underperforming or misaligned are repositioned to serve you better.
Wealth is not built by accumulation alone, but by disciplined, strategic allocation.
Maintain Control
You should remain in control of your assets at all times. True financial strength means having access to your resources when you need them, on your timeline. Your strategy should prioritize flexibility, liquidity, and personal decision-making authority.
Control creates confidence. Confidence creates clarity.
Transfer Wealth Efficiently
Wealth should move forward with purpose, whether to family, charitable causes, or future generations. Financial success means that assets pass at their highest possible value, not diminished unnecessarily by poor structure or avoidable erosion.
It also means planning for your own major life milestones, such as education funding, business transitions, or retirement income, so that you benefit fully from what you have built.
Your wealth should serve you during your lifetime and beyond it.
Protect Against All Major Risks
Before wealth can grow, it must be protected.
A sound financial strategy anticipates and shields against the most significant threats to wealth, including:
- Market volatility
- Tax exposure
- Legal and liability risks
- Health events
- Longevity risk
Protection is not a product. It is a philosophy.
Protect first. Protect fully. Protect for life.
Live Well Today
Financial success should enhance your current lifestyle, not postpone it. A well-designed plan does not require sacrificing your present quality of life to secure your future. Instead, it creates balance, allowing you to enjoy today while building confidently for tomorrow.
Because wealth has little meaning if it comes at the cost of living.
